TBS and Zionism
Temple Beth Sholom affirms Zionism is the belief in self-determination for the Jewish people in our ancestral homeland. Antizionism is equivalent to antisemitism when it violates what Natan Sharansky calls the "Three D's": Delegitimization, Demonization, and Double Standards.

Rabbi Stern's Position
As a leader in several Zionist rabbinic groups, it should be no surprise Rabbi Stern is an avowed and committed Zionist. Born from his strong attachment to Jewish peoplehood and the truth he sees when he visits (3 times since October 7th) Rabbi Stern is one of the Reform movement's most outspoken Zionist leaders and served as a candidate for the most recent World Zionist Congress.
