100 years may sound like a long time, the Temple has been around for so long we even have a book about our history!
The Spirit Unconsumed: A History of the Topeka Jewish Community
Temple Beth Sholom is revitalized by every generation of Jews who make Topeka and Northeast Kansas home. Our families that have been in Topeka since the 1880s join our most recent converts and transplants from the coast in creating a heimish and unique kehilla kedosha that makes it feel as much like a family as a shul.
